With Mother’s day just around the corner, it is important to start thinking about what this special person in your life would love to receive.
Of-course we know she’s not expecting anything other than our loving words. She would just be happy seeing our beautiful faces and receiving a loving hugs from us and the grandchildren.
Trust me when I say I know this because as a mom myself I’m just looking forward to spending the day with my children.
With that said, I know my mom isn’t expecting a gift, but I know how wonderful thoughtful gifts feel when receiving them. So I’m going to get sending my mom a wonderful gift basket and a warm personalized card.
Think about the last time you received a special gift from someone you love. How did it make you feel? Did it bring tears to your eyes? I for one remember the feeling of an overwhelming joy. I felt my heart skip a slight beat in joy. I felt so warm inside…and it even brought tears to my eyes…and will all that going on, my son then gave me one of his most sincere hugs with a kiss on the cheek.
My son is 21 now and he has always been loving and affectionate towards me. I remember walking into the mall one Saturday afternoon where he was hanging out with his friends and he cam running over to me wrapping his arms around me giving me a huge hug saying ”I Love You!” That’s what I felt like when he sent me flowers one afternoon at my place of work. When the person delivering them moved the flowers away from his face, it was him..my “Baby Boy” delivering me, his Mom at work. When I asked him why he was doing that, he said “just because I love you mom!”
So take it from me, on this special day of Mother’s day just around the corner, think of Mom weather she wants a gift or not, just maker her feel extra special. It goes a long way.
